Stacktopus is fun for the whole family

We have definitely stepped up our family game nights since spending more time indoors during these last couple of months. One of the most recent additions to our growing collection is Stacktopus by Playmonster. This game has easily become one of our favourite because it is easy to play and makes everyone giggle too.My kids love this game because they get to wear silly sea fingers. Luna is 6, so she really understands that she has to stack (using her silly sea fingers) the cups to match the cards shown as fast as she can. For Lucas who is 3, we were able to simplify it even more, by just getting him to copy the pattern of the card shown (not stacked up) while wearing his silly sea fingers. It is still a little much for him to stack the cups up with the silly sea fingers. But, he was able to stack the cups without wearing the tentacles. However, he would much rather wear the silly sea fingers, well because THEY ARE SILLY and so much more fun! There are also two levels (like beginner and intermediate) in this game. The first level is yellow, which the cards are only stacked one way. And the other side of the card (blue) is a little bit more complicated because the cups are stacked 2 different ways. When it’s just the kids playing, the use the easier side. And when it’s Gabriel, Luna and I playing, we use the blue side.Stacktopus is recommended for ages 5 and up. But, you can definitely adjust the game for younger kids, like Lucas who is 3. He also enjoys playing it on his own, helps his hand-eye coordination.I really like this game because:

  1. Easy to play
  2. Simple and quick to set up (Contents: 9 Silly Sea Fingers, 18 Cups, 27 Cards, Rules)
  3. Quick clean up! NO MESS!
  4. 2 levels
  5. Fun for everyone

Slip on the silly sea fingers to become a stacking octopus…a Stacktopus!™ Stacking these cups should be easy, but when you’re wearing octopus arms on your fingers, it becomes silly, competitive fun! Race to match your stack of cups to the card shown to win! It’s great fun for kids, but also for families—wearing the silly sea fingers levels the playing field for kids and adults! For 2 to 3 Players.
