Truth Tuesday [#24]

Truth is, I’m going for a biopsy on my breast the second week of February. I’ve never had one before, and am anxious, nervous and scared. I don’t like needles :/

Has anyone had a breast biopsy done before?

According to the American Cancer Society (2010), a breast biopsy is: taking out and testing tissue from the suspicious area of the breast. For more information on breast biopsy

OMG! I’ve been meaning to comment on this. My heart sank the other day when I read it. I’ve been going through the same exact thing. They found a nodule but after more tests, thankfully it was nothing. Makes you appreciate your mammogram more, right? I hesitated to get it done but the big c runs in my family. Now I know I have to keep a watch out on them and just take one day at a time.

I hope everything turns out good for you. You’ll be in my prayers. You’re so courageous for sharing this. I thought about it but didn’t go through with it. Maybe I will do a post on it in the future. Keep your head up!
