Nina on the Moon

Well I know the craze for beauty boxes has been alive and kickin for a while now…and although I do not subscribe to any of those I always thought it’d be fun to get one. So when Influenster sent me their first Canadian Vox Box, I was pretty excited since it’s a box full of surprises! ^.^ I was impressed, full sized products. Below are my thoughts on the products that were inside Influenster’s “Maple VoxBox.”

Skinny Cow Milk Chocolate Flavour Heavenly Crisp: 
I liked the Chocolate Flavour Heavenly Crsip, it was a tasty little chocolate wafer. It is light, airy and crisp.

Skinny Cow Milk Chocolate Dreamy Clusters:
These Dreamy Clusters remind me of Twix Chocolate, just “healthier.” The chocolate melts nicely. If I was into chocolate snacks, I’d probably pick them up.

NYC New York Color Big Bold Curl Mascara:
This mascara is awesome! It has an oversized curved brush that adds thickness to your lashes. I found that it gave my lashes a lot of volume and curled them. The formula is perfect, not too wet and not dry. It dried quickly, phew, because I don’t like mascara that when you blink after you apply it smudges!

NYC New York Color Big Bold Plumping Lip Gloss:
This lip gloss smells great and doesn’t taste like anything. I liked this gloss so much that I even had to buy one in red for my sister’s stocking (click here). The NYC Big Bold Plumping Lip Gloss makes your lips look fuller with a high gloss. It looks great on its own or onto of a lipstick. The applicator is BIG, probably the biggest applicator I’ve tried and I am pretty fond of it because it gives full and even coverage with just one stroke. It has a nice tingly/minty feeling, not over powering. It also made my teeth look a little whiter? I don’t know how, but it does.

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-On Manicure:
I really like that there is no glue (no mess!!) involved with this revolutionary way of getting a perfect manicure! It’s a pretty easy process; I recommend first sizing the Broadway Nails to your own. Then you just peel a plastic off the back of the nail and press on. I love the concept, but the next day two nails fell off, so then I had to take it all off :(

Montagne Jeunesse Clay Spas:
I have been dying to try one of these at home clay spas for so long, but always seem to forget to pick one up, so you can imagine how I excited I was when I saw this in the box! I really love how easy and fast it is to put on, for some reason I thought it was going to be a lot more work than it was.  The clay spa felt so refreshing and relaxing on my skin that I even had a cat nap for 15 minutes, lol. The clay spa left my skin feeling smooth and very soft. I will definitely be picking some of these up now that I know they are so good! Perfect for a girls night that I am planning too!! Yay.

Ice Brakers DUO: 
As soon as I popped one Ice Braker DUO into my mouth, it came flying right back out…the flavours were too much; too sweet and way too artificial. I really didn’t like it at all and I wouldn’t recommend them. I gave my husband one and he wasn’t fond of them either, so we threw it in the garbage.
