The Grocery and Specialty Food West is a trade show that showcases grocery and specialty foods. It’s where you’ll find hundreds of new products and sample them too. The 2017 Grocery and Specialty Food West is the first food focused trade show that I attended, and it was amazing. I was really impressed by the variety of samples being offered. From beer, cheese, organic and even gluten free snacks. I sampled roughly a hundred different products at The Grocery and Specialty Food West and have narrowed it down to five favourites.

- LÄRABAR™ Bites
Alright, the first on my list are the LÄRABAR™ Bites. I discovered the LÄRABAR during motherhood! And boy, they are lifesavers. I honestly have one in every diaper bag because they are healthy and satisfying for the whole family. So when I saw the LÄRABAR Bites displayed at the Grocery and Specialty Food West I kind of freaked out.

2. Spokes
These air puffed potato snacks remind me of the Mexican botana you can buy on the street. That’s what these are, essentially. Unlike their Mexican counter part, Spokes are baked, not fried. Spokes are made in Canada and come in 8 flavours: Mango Habanero, BBQ, Sea Salt & Vinegar, Salt & Pepper, Dill Pickle, Fiesta Salsa, Sea Salted Caramel, and Simply Bare. Spokes are also preservative and gluten free.

3. Prairie Naturals Morning Rise and Shine
