One of the main streets in our neighbourhood has been undergoing some major construction (since February 2019), and my kids have been OBSESSED with watching all of the heavy machinery and equipment ever since. But, their absolute favourite thing to watch during the street improvements and sewer separation has been watching the construction vehicles in action!! During the Spring and Summer months we would sit and watch the big CAT vehicles do their thing for at least 30 minutes, but now that it’s getting nippy out (almost Winter) we watch for less! The first thing my kids realized was that it was SO BIG! It stands at about 15 inches and can hold a HUGE load.
