Synopsis: Light the candles, prepare the feasts and share the fun of Celebrations to Remember.
Join Crown Princess Elena, along with her family and friends, as they honor the past, rejoice in the present and greet the future with music, laughter and love. Whether celebrating Navidad, Dia de los Muertos or Carnaval, new and older traditions alike play a part. And even though everyone doesn’t always agree on the best way to get the party started, one thing is perfectly clear: holidays aren’t about what you do; they’re about the special people you spend them with!
We’re joining ELENA OF AVALOR by making a bright and colourful mask inspired by the CELEBRATIONS TO REMEMBER!
Materials Needed for ELENA OF AVALOR: CELEBRATIONS TO REMEMBER MASK
- Scissors.
- 3D stickers of your choice, the brighter the better!
- White construction paper (to make the mask).
- Black markers (to draw the outline/design the mask).
- String
Follow these easy steps:
Step 1: On the white construction paper, start drawing the outlines (design) of your mask. I started at the eyes because it’s easier to work from the inside out, in my opinion.
2: Cut out a fun exaggerated wing shape towards the top of the mask.
Step 3: After you are done drawing the design of your mask in black sharpie, you can begin to colour it in! Choose vibrant colours to make the mask POP.
4: Add your 3D stickers to the mask, I’ve added mine around the eyes to make it more dramatic.
5: Add the string and wear the mask during CELEBRATIONS TO REMEMBER!
