SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE COOKIES

Cartoons in the 90s were the best! I remember we used to watch Sunday cartoons as a family after breakfast; all cuddled up on the sofa. One of our favourite cartoons to watch were the Smurfs. Nowadays it seems like all of the big hit tv shows (cartoons included) are being adapted to the big screen (movies), so it wasn’t a surprise when we heard about SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE.SMURFS-THELOSTVILLAGE-EASYCOOKIES

About the movie:

In this fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette  and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy, and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does. Embarking on a roller coaster journey full of action and danger, they are on a course that leads to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history!

SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE is coming to theatres April 7th and to celebrate the release we have a fun activity for you to do with your little one!

Easy, colourful cookies inspired by SMURFS the movie.

Ingredients:

I use this fondant recipe. For these cookies inspired on the little blue guys and their adventures we used white, red and blue fondant. Which are basically their theme colours.smurfs-thelostvillage-sonypictures-cookies

Once the cookies are cooled down, apply fondant over the cookie and decorate. On some of the cookies we applied a red fondant base and tiny white circles also made out of fondant, inspired by their houses (mushrooms). And on other we applied blue fondant and a white “S.”

Now sit back, relax and celebrate Smurfs: The Lost Village with these delicious Smurf cookies with a tall glass of milk!
