Yesvember!

hola! how is everyone doing? it’s been a week since i last posted, srry! I’ve been incredibly busy w/ wedding planning, vacation planning..& organizing donations! :) donations, you ask? well lemme tell ya that i have a charity, called little drops of love & the main purpose is to make care packages & personally deliver them(consists of: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap/shampoo, undies, beanie babie,) to street children in impoverished cities that i visit while travelling. I also collect new&gently worn clothes for babies/toddlers/kids in impoverished villages.. if ya got time ya can check us out on R facebook page!

what up!! how was everyone’s weekend? what ya’ll get up to?! i want to see pictures!!hehehehe. Yesterday, we went over to my parents house to hand out candy & then we went to our friends place to watch fireworks, and finally, back to to our place for a movie n pizza! MMmmmmm. 
anyways, this is what i wore yesterday (October 31). I don’t really consider it a costume, because I would wear this on a night out, ya dig? even with the black lip-gloss,lol.

After a couple consecutives days of rain, i def. had to take advantage of today! the weather was very nice, aka bright,warm & dry :) Today was a chillin day, library, and pet store! Uhm influence for this look, i think i was feelin kind of like chic, military ?

Oh! I just booked our tickets to Mexico :) Going for 2 weeks n a bit! Flying van-houston 1 day, then houston-puerto vallarta 1 week,  then mexico city  2day, and guadalajara 1 week, then back to puerto vallarta for 3 days!! we are so freaking excited, it’s been 5.5 months since we left Mexico ( We lived there Dec2009-May2010)and we are def. missing the family&friends! We have already started planning our pre-xmas dinner with both of gabe’s families since we wont be there 4 xmas this year. we’ll be spending this xmas here in Vancouver, with my family.
 
anyways, hope you had a wicked wednesday. and am looking forward to reading your blog & seeing what ya dig 4 halloween/dressed up as!

when it rains, i like to be comfy. if ima wear heels, they should have good grip because i def. don’t want to wipe out while walkin into a place with no mat ta dry my feet, ya know what i’m saying? :) in the scenario pictured above, i couldn’t decide on which shoes to wear.Hmm whether or not to risk wiping out because the biege heels have lame grip & the boots, good grip. So I decided to take the plunge and wear 1 of each.lol.

33-Esperanza

October 13, 2010= 33!

This evening was the beginning to a happy ending :) After being trapped underground for 69days, 33 Chilean miners will be rescued! I have been watching the broadcast live, and just saw the first miner come out ( they will be rescued 1×1 in the capsule below, which was designed by Chilean engineers. I was overcome by emotions, I sat there infront of the screen watching the capsule slowly descend from the ground. Seeing the miner’s little son weep as he saw his dad, def made me shed extra tears. I’m continuing to watch the broadcast, the second miner just came up!! SO EXCITING.  I’m going to continue watching, so have a goood night/good morning.

hey’all! hope everyone had a rad weekend ^.^ i did…worked 5am-1pm saturday.partied…mmwine! and sunday we chilled all day & obviously went 4 pho/vietnamesephuuuud.then to my parents place. and now its monday and we chillin….we made pancackes&fruit salad 4 breaky…went to get our dining room table set.and soooofa 4 the living room,YAY!  now, i’m waiting for the pizza to be done, Gabriel made Mushroom &shrimp pizza…with a nice bottle of Merlot….mm

the dress i am wearing is my moms from the 80s~! ^.^  many years ago, she was going to throw it away, but i told her that i wanted to keep it because it was something that i’d love to treasure foreverrr!! because it was a part of her closet…and that i’d wear it out once i was around the age that she got it..(24ish)… I don’t know how to explain what i felt when i put this dress on…it was so energizing and took me back, made me feel like my mom… like a special bond,lol.love it!

Hasta Luego, Summer!

Today, is officially the last day of summer! As mentioned before,I am so excited for fall!! :)  Not only because of how I like to see the leaves change colors; my birthday, my anniversary, and thanksgiving, toques/scarfs, pumpkin spice lattes, halloween and  the love of  wearing layers!
What are some of your highlights from summer? …i’ll TRY TO KEEP my list short: going to nj/nyc,attending my first wedding&being a bridesmaid.also being maid of honour in the second wedding i attended a month after the 1st, throwing a surprise bday 4 my fiance, went to CirqueDeSoleil 4the 1st time, went to the fair,MOVING OUT FOR THE FIRST TIME!

reach 4 the stars,baby!

buenas noches, hope everyone had a good day! or for those of you who are a day ahead…buenos dias, have a good day :) *yes, that’s one of our babies, the star watcher! :) we are obsessed with looking at the stars/moon at night!heheh so i took a random pic with it!

This is what I wore today, I wanted to rock something that said “chillin, like a villain” and still be warm, lol, especially because it was raining/breeeeezy. So yep, today was a chillin day, Gabriel & I had our bkfast at like noon, i ate my fave mini wheats with vanilla yogurt(mmm) & made him scrambled eggs/turkey sausage &toast! and then we were off to the music shop to buy his acoustic! (he is playing it now, as we speak!)
