One of L’OCCITANE’s newest collections is inspired by and named after the world perfume capital in the south of France, Grasse. La collection de Grasse includes beautiful fragrances that combine precious ingredients from lands near and far: Jasmine & Bergamote, Magnolia & Mure, Vanille & Narcisse and Thé Vert & Bigarade.
I received the Nerolie & Orchidee fragrance and Fragrance Beautifying Cream a couple of weeks ago and have been wearing it ever since. A sweet blend of fruity and floral are evident with just one spray of the Neroli & Orchidee fragrance. The fruity scent being the Neroli, which comes from the Neroli oil produced from the white blossom of the bitter orange tree of the Mediterranean. And the floral blend from the Orchid flower from Madagascar.
I like this fragrance for several reasons; the first being that it lasts a long time on your skin and the scent also evolves as time goes by. It’s soft, feminine and romantic. A perfect scent for everyday use. It’s aroma is subtle yet strong enough to make people wonder what scent you are wearing.
The Fragrance Beautifying Cream is a floral fragrance lotion that is meant to extend the trail of your perfume from La Collection de Grasse. It has universal floral notes that blend well with the eau de toilette.
The Fragrance Beautifying Cream has a smooth texture, that leaves your skin feeling moisturized and silky.
I usually apply the Fragrance Beautifying Cream on my neck and wrists before applying Neroli & Orchidee in those same spots. I have worn it on its own as well.
